Crompton Controls Welcomes Students from Barnsley College..
It was a great pleasure to host two groups of students from Barnsley College with packed morning and afternoon sessions highlighting the manufacturing of electrical control equipment from building block components right through to finished products designed, assembled and tested in a modern factory environment. There were some enthusiastic contributions and questions from both groups who were a credit to both Barnsley College and their course organisers, who also deserve a mention for taking the time to arrange the day and give their students the chance to see some real engineering and manufacturing in action. And we might just see one or two students again if there is a potential for work experience or placement along the way to their course completion and chosen career path.
